Summary information provided pursuant to Legislative Decree. 196/2003 and EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 defined as a whole “Code” in the text of the information.
For treatments related to ad hoc Market Research, Metron prepares specific information from time to time on the basis of the particular characteristics of each project to be carried out. The type of research to be carried out can have very particular characteristics as regards objectives, research methodologies, who are the subjects to be interviewed and how they will be identified, what measures will be used to protect the confidentiality of the data collected, and all other important aspects ( types of data processing envisaged, data controllers and managers, etc.).
All market research carried out by Metron fully respects both the privacy protection legislation and the stringent rules of the ICC / ESOMAR International Code on Market, Opinion and Social Research and Data Analytics code of ethics and good conduct.
Market Research carried out by Metron:
• They are always processed in a strictly anonymous form.
• They never deal with sensitive topics.
• The interviewees are free to participate or not and receive clear and complete information on the purpose of the research.
• Often the subjects to be interviewed are the customers of companies that commission Metron to carry out a Customer Satisfaction survey; they receive very precise information in advance.
• Many of the searches do not require the use of any personal data, for example: those carried out online on panels of third parties or those carried out over the phone with the random creation of telephone numbers or those carried out on the street or in a shopping center.
• If it is necessary to use personal data in the sample identification phase (name, telephone number, type of activity carried out) these data are kept separate from the information collected and are deleted as soon as possible, ie as soon as their specific usefulness is exhausted.
